expertise

what consulting firm doesn’t claim expertise?

The dictionary defines expertise as "the special skill or knowledge one possesses."  All consulting organizations claim to have it. There is the old joke, "An 'expert' is someone sharing their opinions 1000 miles from home."

We take expertise very seriously at Aveus. Just having it is fairly useless. Talking about it without results is what gives consultants a bad name. We believe in knowledge that can be applied for a positive result. That’s our definition of expertise.

At our core, Aveus is all about constructive change. Our job is to apply our expertise to a wide variety of complex challenges. Learn more about our specific areas of expertise:

Customer Experience: Often reduced to service concepts that are important, but limited. We know customer experience as a lens that can drive all operating model decisions.

Business Strategy:  Another overused but important phrase. Done well it sets a clear direction, defines transformational work, and identifies capabilities for future strength and performance.

Operations Excellence: There are many great theories and approaches – great if used in the right circumstance. The key is establishing a Performance Chain™ that works for you.

Transforming the Organization: Where the hard work begins and most consultants leave. Leading and managing the change is, in itself, a special competency.

what matters is expertise applied for a good outcome.
